– Music - what does it mean for you in your life?

What can I tell - when I was a teenager, I have seen in "Jam" on TV, how guys have played electric guitars and I have understood that that is mine. And in general, music – any kind of music – always gives to the listener some special emotions, that is why we love it. For me music is the drive and the power also, something that could awake me and help to do any business. Well and, of course, music is a kind of romantics.

– What kind of music do you like and prefer to listen to?

First of all it is hard-rock (or hard'n'heavy – I can't really understand the difference). I have begun with the Scorpions. The first song, that has hooked me was popular in our country Wind Of Change. My father has given it to me, it was recorded on a cassette... with the English language lessons! Voice of Klaus Meine has hypnotised me. Then I have found my brother's cassette with some more Scorpions ballads. Some time after I bacame to collect their albums.

Little late I became to listen to Deep Purple, AC/DC, Kiss, Whitesnake, Dio, Motley Crue, MrBig, … It's hard to name them all! And I have to name one more – russian band Gorky Park, I loved them very much too.

Now I love some mix of rock and funk, like Extreme for example.

Little separately is guitar blues. I love the old blues that was played on acoustic guitars with the sliders, and I love the modern electric blues either. Here are some performers - Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Walter Trout, Stevie Ray Voughan.

– Who are your idols, the most respectable musicans?

Number 1 for me is Eddie Van Halen, I think. It is unreal not to recognize his style. The guitar becomes alive in this hands. Also I'm fond of Ulrich Roth very much – so much underestimated guitarist, in my opinion. In his playing manner the guitar could sing and cry and rejoice… These two players are able to transfer through their guitars various emotions and mood. And I have to note, that in spite of early begining they have been sounding quite modern already in 70's.
